Playing around, my first VPS

Yesterday I purchased a VPS Hosting at Linode.com

So far so good. This VPS is an unmanaged service so you have to do it all by your own.

I never set up a server before but I used the super basic linux commands.

I already installed PHP, Mysql, phpMyAdmin and even a WordPress is running there.

My plan is to move everything from my actual hosting (Siteground) to this cool Linde.

Siteground it’s been a great hosting but I was having some CPU and memory issues in my main blog (quicoto.com). Not enough power I guess

So, if you have any tutorials / blog that can help me with the server administration I’d appreciate it.

Expect to see some linux weird posts around here from now on
