    I use Concrete5 CMS quite a bit. They incorporate Zend caching in their CMS, which makes vast performance improvements. Not quite sure how memcached and W3 plugin work together in a WordPress environment. WordPress is great if the number of plugins is kept low. It tends to get bloated and slow down significantly when overloaded with so many different coding styles in Plugins. I have good success with Squid, not so much memcached… Post if you find out more info…

      I would say not the number of Plugins but how coded they are 😛

      Didn’t know about Squid. And in fact don’t know much more about Memcached. I didn’t set it up.

      And of course will post if I find any other info 🙂
